[review] TONY MOLY Baby Doll BB Make-up Base (Violet)

Product Name: Baby Doll BB Make-up Base (Violet)
Cosmetics Line: Tony Moly
Origin: Korea

Packaging & Contents: Tube (12cm x 2cm)

-It's a matte tube. Quite cute. All texts at the back are in Korean aside from the ingredients in which TM Singapore pasted English translations. I cant find anything that says about how many ml/g the tube has but I've used it only once and the hollow part is already around 40% (or maybe I just used too much. :p). Oh! Its on the receipt! 30ml! :D

Product Description: "This make up base is type of light and fresh that natural covered function revises skin tone and sebum absorption power with close function controls sebum."
-Pretty weird description right? Maybe what it was trying to say is that this bb make up base makes you feel fresh, lightens skin tone  and has sebum control and absorption qualities.

Consistency & Texture:

-It is a little bit thicker than other make-up bases I've tried. A little like facial lotions and has an oily feel to it. Maybe its because of the bb effect (yes, I believe them. :P).

Application and Absorption:
-Since it is like facial lotions, it  is easy to apply. Upon application, my face looked purplish pale (whatever, I dont know how to describe it okay. X3 ). It took about a minute to blend in with my skin.

Price: SG $18.90
-In my opinion it is still in the 'okay' price range. Around $14.90 USD or P650. Though as what a friend had told me, Singapore Tony Moly prices are a bit over. In Korea or at my friends shop it'd be only around P350-P500. That's quite a difference if you plan on buying other things.

POV:
-It's good. I had it on for about 5 hours and I only had to use oil film twice on my nose area. Considering how oily my face can get on a regular day and using other bases the result is superb. Usually, I had to use oil films and blotting papers in just about an hour or two from application of make-up (yeah I know, sucks to be me). Also touch up my eye area in about 4 hours. That day, I never really had to as there were no creases and smudging eyeliner (caused by oil secretions). I cant think much of what else to write right now as it is 2:28 in the a.m. so if you have questions, comment away. I'll try to see what I can do about it. :)

This is how I looked right before removing my make-up that day. :)

Facts about my skin type:
-yellowish
-open pores
-oily

  2. Actually, you can use both method. But for a more natural look, I suggest you skip using make-up base and just go on with using your BB Cream. And as for the finishing veil, just dust off a little powder to eliminate shine on your face and you're all set. :)
