[review] TONY MOLY Kiss Lover Lip Stick PK01 Candy Pink

Product Name: Kiss Lover Lip Stick PK01 Candy Pink
Cosmetics Line: Tony Moly
Origin: Korea

Price: SG $19.90. Roughly P675.

Packaging & Contents: 4grams. Your regular thin cased lipstick. Also the tube case has nice locks so you wont have to worry it'll open on your pouch when it gets crammed and ends up destroying everything that will make you claw your face (it happened to me. a lipstick from L'oreal).

Product Description: The only the ones in English are High Shine Effect, Soft Feel, and Moisturizing Effect. Other texts are all in Korean.

Consistency & Texture & Scent:

Just like your regular lipstick. (I'm so creative today). LOL. Anyways its  softer/creamier than most lip sticks I've tried. Maybe thats what it meant with the "soft feel" in the description. It felt a little bit, just a little bit oily or greasy just like lip gloss. It has no taste/ flavor or scent. Thus it is just an okay lipstick to me since I like mine with flavors and scents.

Application and Absorption: I was a little disappointed how sheer it was upon application. I though it would be bold matte candy pink or something (my fault for not reading a lot. I was attracted to the color).

Here's how it looked in my hand:

The thin one is what it looked like for single stroke and the other one for multiple strokes. I don't know about you but it does look sheer for me (I cant move on. >,< sorry).

And here's how it looked on my lips:
Please don't be freaked out. :D

POV: It's an okay product for me. Its cute! Pretty decent but I expected it to be bolder in shade. The good points are; 1)nice and tight lock for the case; 2) "soft feel". Good for your daily touch up lipstick. Does it come off easily? Well that really depends on what your mannerisms are. But if you are just like me who keeps puckering up from time to time because I am afraid of chaps, you'd have to touch up every now and then. Its in the average range for how long it can hold in your lips. And for all of that I give this product a 5 out of 10. Good enough. :)

My Tony Moly Products from Singapore

(Kasama yung toblerone haha.. Kidding, its from Ate. I was about to eat it then chhhhaammm! Fuuuuu It melted! Onto the ref. :( )

Courtesy of my 2nd cousin? Ate Racquel paid for by my beloved father. :D You see I have been a make-up/beauty enthusiast lately and Tony Moly is one of the Korean make-up line I am really wanting to try but it is not available in the Philippines. So since Ate Rac was on her way home, I pleaded her to buy me some. :D THANKS ATE RACQUEL AND PAPA!

It was just last year that I was encouraged to use Asian products because according to reviews and experiences they suit my skin type contrary to the popular belief that I just want to use them because "they are Korean". I just hope people around me stop taking me in that light. "I like everything Korean". That is so wrong! I admit that I am into their music and dramas and shows and they do influence my choices but it is not everything about it. I too have my personal preferences and choices. I just simply incorporate it in my style and choose WHAT IS BEST AND WHAT I AM COMFORTABLE WITH. I sound so defensive aint I? Haha.. because its irritating!!!!!!!!!!! Its offensive even! FYI I also use American and Paris brand make-ups. :)

So onto what is inside the crumpled slightly cring-worthy highly photoshopped SONG JONGKI AND NARSHA Paper Bag. My father doesn't seem to realize the value of Jongki-papa's face. >,< Nung hinalukay ko sa maleta nya nkabaon sa bundok halo halong gamit. T_T Heck I can even sell that paper bag if it was properly handled! (business minded. :P)

Crystal Light Pink Beam - because I am dying to have a decent highlighter. Why not from Etude/Faceshop? Because Idont like the shades. They are so "shabang shabang"! Shining shimmery in korean. :) Ayuko naman magmukhang nasubsob sa glitters no. >,< Yes I am judging the products even before I have tried them because I can! :p

Baby Doll BB Make Up Base - besides the name being totally inviting, I want to try a variety of bases. And its purple. And Asian BB products owns western ones. :D
Click here for the review on this product.

Velvet Touch Primer - This expensive primer will be used only on special occassions. And it is really expensive!

Kiss Lover Lipstick Candy Pink - The shade is really cute. And I need different colored pouch lipsticks because what I have now is the palette. And because I threw out a lot of my lipsticks because they smelled nasty. "When in doubt, throw it out." I needed to re-stock.

Party Lover Gel Eye Liner Pearl Violet - I want a red and blue one seriously. T_T They'd be nice.

Remember this make-up trial? You probably dont even know haha. I just did my right eye. I used a cream shadow. Its not proper thus I want colored Gel Liners. They are cute and handy for artsy make up styles. :D

White Musk Body Cleanser - I think this was given free. :D I dont really know how to use it and what it does. I'll google later. There wasn't an english instruction pasted. >,<

Tony Moly Singapore Business Card - in case you guys go to sg and wanted to find there stores.

[review] The FACESHOP Professional Foundation

Product Name: Professional Foundation - Oil Free #23 Natural Beige
Other shades: #13 Pure Beige & #21 Light Beige
Cosmetics Line: The Face Shop
Origin: Korea

Price: I forgot how much. >,< Around P400-P600. I really don't know.

Packaging & Contents: Tube (12cm x 4.5cm) , 40ml/1.4 fl. oz.
-Its like a toothpaste or an oil paint tube in metallic silver. Its interesting. :) Texts are all in English.

Product Description: "This long-lasting foundation evens skin tone and leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated. This line is ideal for oily skin cause of oil-free non-sticky and soft texture. It also covers blemishes effectively."

Consistency & Texture:

-Its consistency almost like an oil paint. In between cream and liquid/spray foundations.

Application and Absorption:  It is easy to apply because of its fluidity. I only need to use a little bit and it can cover my face and neck with ease. It takes quite a while to set in and blend though. And as I apply it, I can see the difference in my skin. It really evened out skin tone and did a good coverage.

-The only problem is when you put more than enough. Ive had those times when I was in a hurry and I just put whatever or if I squeezed too much and think that it'd be a pity to throw it. And when I did, my face was all caky  by mid-day. And you dont want that happening to you. So if you ever use this product be careful when squeezing it out. A little from time to time would be good. Believe me you only need a little to cover your face and neck because it does an absolute job.

-Using a brush is better than your fingers and/or a sponge. First you can tell when you'd put on enough when you see brush strokes on your face. It means stop dubbing your brush on your foundation and just blend in what you've put on. If you think there are still spots that needs to be covered, use your concealer. 2nd, using your fingers will limit the coverage to a minimum. Brushes always cater better coverage. 3rd, using a sponge will be a waste since it will absorb most of the foundation. You just need your sponge for blending. :)

POV: This foundation is perfect for my everyday use. I bought it for that purpose but I did not expect a very good result because it is a bit cheap for "faceshop" (their products are quite expensive in my country). For coverage, packaging, application and price worth I give it an 8 out of 10. The only thing I have problems about it though is that it says it is for oily skin and I expected it to hold me from using oil films and do touch ups to not less than 3 hours from application and oil starts coming out in about 1.5 to 2hours. (Well actually my face is really oily but whatever. :D) It is good enough.

Facts about my skin type:

[review] TONY MOLY Baby Doll BB Make-up Base (Violet)

Product Name: Baby Doll BB Make-up Base (Violet)
Cosmetics Line: Tony Moly
Origin: Korea

Packaging & Contents: Tube (12cm x 2cm)

-It's a matte tube. Quite cute. All texts at the back are in Korean aside from the ingredients in which TM Singapore pasted English translations. I cant find anything that says about how many ml/g the tube has but I've used it only once and the hollow part is already around 40% (or maybe I just used too much. :p). Oh! Its on the receipt! 30ml! :D

Product Description: "This make up base is type of light and fresh that natural covered function revises skin tone and sebum absorption power with close function controls sebum."
-Pretty weird description right? Maybe what it was trying to say is that this bb make up base makes you feel fresh, lightens skin tone  and has sebum control and absorption qualities.

Consistency & Texture:

-It is a little bit thicker than other make-up bases I've tried. A little like facial lotions and has an oily feel to it. Maybe its because of the bb effect (yes, I believe them. :P).

Application and Absorption:
-Since it is like facial lotions, it  is easy to apply. Upon application, my face looked purplish pale (whatever, I dont know how to describe it okay. X3 ). It took about a minute to blend in with my skin.

Price: SG $18.90
-In my opinion it is still in the 'okay' price range. Around $14.90 USD or P650. Though as what a friend had told me, Singapore Tony Moly prices are a bit over. In Korea or at my friends shop it'd be only around P350-P500. That's quite a difference if you plan on buying other things.

POV:
-It's good. I had it on for about 5 hours and I only had to use oil film twice on my nose area. Considering how oily my face can get on a regular day and using other bases the result is superb. Usually, I had to use oil films and blotting papers in just about an hour or two from application of make-up (yeah I know, sucks to be me). Also touch up my eye area in about 4 hours. That day, I never really had to as there were no creases and smudging eyeliner (caused by oil secretions). I cant think much of what else to write right now as it is 2:28 in the a.m. so if you have questions, comment away. I'll try to see what I can do about it. :)

This is how I looked right before removing my make-up that day. :)
